General Submissions

Open for submissions year round, from anyone, anywhere in the world.

POETRY
We publish poets at any stage of their career at The Paris-American. We choose poetry based on quality and originality; there are no genre biases or preferences.

GENERAL
Please submit 3-5 unpublished poems, here. Submittable will only accept .pdf, .doc and .docx files. If sending poems, please combine them into one single file. Include a brief cover letter along with your name, address, and e-mail address on each page of the submission. The Paris-American obtains first electronic rights.

Simultaneous submissions are fine, as long as you notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

If you have sent a submission of poems through Submittable, please wait until you hear back from us before sending more work. ​

Submissions made by paper mail or email will be returned unread.
